Terms and Conditions

Welcome to The Pure Life Sanctuary Retreat Center (“The Sanctuary”). By reserving or participating in any retreats, events, or private space rentals at The Sanctuary, you agree to the following terms and conditions.

1.1 “The Sanctuary” refers to The Pure Life Sanctuary Retreat Center, its facilities, and its property.
1.2 “Host” refers to the individual or organization renting the space for private retreats or events.
1.3 “Participant” refers to individuals attending an open retreat hosted by The Sanctuary.
1.4 “Event” refers to any retreat, wedding, day event, or private rental held at The Sanctuary.

2.1 Deposit: A non-refundable deposit of 30% of the total cost is required to secure your booking.
2.2 Final Payment: The remaining balance is due 30 days prior to the event date. Failure to pay the balance by the due date may result in cancellation without refund.
2.3 Late Bookings: For reservations made within 30 days of the event date, full payment is required at the time of booking.

3.1 Deposits are non-refundable under any circumstances.
3.2 For cancellations made more than 30 days before the event, any payments beyond the deposit will be refunded.
3.3 For cancellations made within 30 days of the event, no refunds will be issued.

4.1 Overnight Retreats: The maximum capacity is 16 guests.
4.2 Day Events: The maximum capacity is 35 guests, applicable to events such as weddings, baby showers, and similar gatherings.
4.3 Exceeding Capacity: Additional attendees beyond these limits are not permitted and may result in immediate termination of the event without refund.

5.1 Private Retreats: Pricing will be adjusted based on the number of attendees. Final pricing will be confirmed during the booking process.
5.2 Additional Services: Add-on services such as chefs, yoga instructors, massage therapy, or cacao ceremonies are available at an additional cost and must be confirmed during booking.

6.1 No Smoking: Smoking is strictly prohibited anywhere on The Sanctuary property.
6.2 Respect for Nature: Guests are encouraged to treat the grounds, trails, and natural features (e.g., waterfall, river, fruit trees) with respect. Littering and damage to plants or wildlife are not permitted.
6.3 Facilities: The use of facilities such as trails, the hot tub, and common areas is at the guest's own risk. Proper care should be taken, and any damages must be reported immediately.
6.4 Quiet Hours: Quiet hours are observed between 10:00 PM and 7:00 AM to maintain the sanctuary’s peaceful environment.

7.1 Guests assume full responsibility for their personal safety and that of their group while on the property. The Sanctuary is not liable for accidents, injuries, or losses during your stay.
7.2 Hosts and participants must ensure that activities are safe and appropriate for the space provided.
7.3 Any damages to The Sanctuary property or facilities caused by the Host or participants will be the responsibility of the Host, and repair/replacement costs will be charged.

8.1 The Sanctuary will provide general cleaning before and after your event. However, Hosts are responsible for ensuring that common areas and facilities are left in reasonable condition.
8.2 Additional cleaning fees may apply if excessive cleaning is required after your event.

9.1 Alcohol: Alcohol consumption is permitted for day events and private retreats, provided it is consumed responsibly. Underage drinking is strictly prohibited.
9.2 Catering and Vendors: External catering and vendors are allowed with prior approval from The Sanctuary. All vendors must adhere to the property’s policies.
9.3 Setup and Breakdown: Hosts are responsible for ensuring all setup and breakdown times fit within the rental period.

The Sanctuary shall not be held liable for cancellations or disruptions caused by events beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemics, or government restrictions.

The Sanctuary reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. Any updates will be communicated to existing bookings promptly.
